- excludes butch, gnc, and trans lesbians
- creator is anti asian, anti bisexual, and made comments about anorexic women

pink lesbian flag ↑ - DON’T USE- the earliest record of the lipstick lesbian flag without the mark comes from this pride flag post made by user trans-wife on december 8, 2013
- the lipstick mark was first removed because it was too complex to covert to a higher resolution


sunset lesbian flag ↑ - OKAY TO USE- includes ALL lesbians
- made by emily gwen, a nonbinary lesbian, in 2018
- the current accepted flag for the community


sun & moon lesbian ↑ - OKAY TO USE- originally made by @sapphosavesu on twitter to exclude trans lesbians along with two other flags: wind lesbian & sea lesbian
- reclaimed & redesigned by @moobian on tumblr
- rumors that the creator of the redesigned flags supports bi/pan lesbians
- used to be just for aesthetics but is now being used by closeted lesbians
